Corkscrews from the early XVIIIth century, until the mechanical corkscrews of the early XXth century;
In the beginning, corkscrews being not exclusively related to the wine, one could have a rather small corkscrew, often folding, for travelling, made oof precious metal, or very fine ironwork.
